Alicia Anderson is an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer, Golden Hearts Senior Fitness Instructor, and Group Aerobics Instructor with over 20 years of experience. She specializes in strength training, balance, coordination, and functional training in clients over 50. As a strong believer in overall health, Alicia is also a certified Master Herbalist. Her education began at the University of MS, where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree, and has continued to develop by attending conferences and seminars related to her clients' needs.
Sheryl has over 30 years’ experience in healthcare and fitness as Occupational Therapist and Registered Yoga Teacher. She assists people of all ages and fitness levels to safely get started with an exercise program. Sheryl also teaches yoga for beginners, mixed level, restorative and specialized workshops for health and wellness.
Alissa is a FITOUR Certified Fitness Instructor for Spin, TABATA, Bootcamps, Abs and more.
She enjoys working with people of all ages, shapes and sizes! From conditioning and training for local youth sports teams and teaching PE at a local school to helping obese clients achieve a healthy lifestyle ... and everyone in between! With 4 very active children and battling the weight issue her whole life she knows what it takes to help you with your fitness goals.
Donna Painter taught aerobic exercise for twenty-five years at the Parks and Recreation in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. She moved to Long Beach in 2015 and joined the Energy Club staff as a licensed NETA exercise instructor. Most recently obtained Silver Sneaker certification.
Heather teaches group and private yoga classes for various ability levels including first-time yogis or seasoned yogis.
Heather graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Psychology. Upon graduating, she realized that her life was taking her in a new direction. A passion for helping others was always part of her innate structure, but she finally discovered the most fitting outlet within yoga.
The realization of combining her passion for yoga, her love of Psychology, and her deep desire to help people reach their potential brought a new sense of life within her. In order to be the best she could be- she dedicated herself to learning more about her craft and practicing it daily. She then graduated from Heartwood Yoga Institute becoming certified in Hatha yoga, Vinyasa yoga, and Aerial yoga.
Sarah Walsh began her fitness and healthcare career 20 years ago as a Keyser certified spinning instructor and certified massage therapist. In 2017 she completed training and testing to become a certified Barre Intensity Instructor. Sarah has a bachelors degree in Communication Studies from Indiana University and works as a licensed real estate broker in addition to teaching fitness classes. She believes the first step to fitness is showing up. “Don’t be afraid to try something new to challenge yourself. You can achieve your fitness goals with a wide variety of ever evolving group fitness classes at The Energy Club”.
John is a FITOUR certified Personal Trainer and Small Group Training Instructor. As a former college athlete, John understands the importance of fitness, setting goals and helping others achieve their fitness goals. He enjoys working with all ages and all levels of fitness from beginner to advanced.
John has coached and built strength and conditioning programs for many youth baseball and football teams, along with his own 20+ years of strength training, body building , flexibility and agility training. John has a passion for fitness, strength training, healthy lifestyle and knows what it takes to reach your goals from start to finish!
